My name is Lisa Kennedy, and I am the owner of Cake Cuisine. Cakes are my passion and I have been lucky enough to be making spectacular wedding and celebration cakes for 30 years. What began as a hobby, developed into my full time job and this year I celebrated 30 years of Cake Cuisine. I am so lucky to have the best job ever and I adore making beautiful creations.
I love and embrace all styles. I work very closely with my clients to ensure that their wedding cake reflects the style and the tone of the wedding theme.
When clients attend the initial consultation, the first item we discuss is the size of the cake they require. Once we establish the number of guests attending the wedding, I can advise on the most suitable size. Over the years, flavours and trends have certainly changed. Although fruit cake is still a favourite, it has been overshadowed by various sponge flavours such as salted caramel, cherry bakewell and chocolate orange. I also offer a selection of gluten free, nut free and eggless options.
I give my clients a broad range to choose from, providing them with at least 8-10 different flavours to try at the consultation.
I enjoy a close working relationship with my local wedding venues and am the preferred supplier at the beautiful Down Hall Hotel, Mulberry House Hotel and Parklands, Quendon Hall.
My diary is fully booked year on year. I believe that couples choose me to make their cakes because I can match their vision and make their dreams come true.
